New Fall Menu Rollout at Pinnacle Restaurant

The Pinnacle Restaurant has always been known for great Mediterranean/American food, spectacular Wine Country views, and great service. On October 25th they will be rolling out additional menu items to better suit the cooler months that are approaching. These items largely fit into a “Mediterranean diet” along with being part of their dining philosophy of encouraging diners to have their “big meal of the day” at lunchtime. Having been voted “Best Restaurant” from 2007-2013 by Inland Empire Magazine, the Pinnacle Restaurant at Falkner Winery continues to impress and improve. Executive Chef Gianni Ciciliot, voted “Best Chef”, and his staff are introducing numerous delicious and healthy new items to the menu. This wonderful restaurant is promoting Mediterranean items on their menu and how they assist those individuals who “eat healthy” and follow a Mediterranean diet that has proven to be 33-46% more effective than a low-fat diet in reducing the risk of stroke or heart attack. For example, most new and existing menu items emphasize the use of olive oil in the cooking, many fruits and vegetables in the preparation, and numerous fish and poultry products as the protein. In addition the new menu adds several new Gluten Free items that are unique, specially prepared dishes not on the regular menu. Diners will also be offered the choice of enriched, whole wheat, or gluten-free pasta in most pasta dishes.

The new menu includes many new health conscience salads, sandwiches, pastas, entrees, and desserts. Staying with their Mediterranean/American food theme, Chef Gianni is introducing a new appetizer: Tamarind Ahi Lettuce Wraps with blackened Ahi Tuna, fresh avocado, mango salsa, crispy wontons and Tamarind dressing; and a healthy and delicious new salad called the Mixed Grill Seafood Salad that includes chopped Romaine lettuce with artichokes, roasted red bell peppers, black olives, and oranges tossed with Tamarind dressing all surrounded with grilled Swordfish, Jumbo Shrimp, and Octopus. A sure hit American dish is added as an appetizer: Fresh Hand-Cut Yukon Gold Fries seasoned with sea salt and pepper and served with a spicy house-made dipping sauce. Chef Gianni added to the sandwich menu by creating a Blackened Salmon Sandwich that uses Steelhead Salmon and adds lettuce, tomato, grilled pineapple, and Cajun aioli on toasted Ciabatta bread. Three new entrées are added: Charbroiled Center Cut Swordfish served with organic lemon and red bell pepper risotto, grilled broccolini, all drizzled with a balsamic grape reduction; a Bourbon Prime Pork Chop seared with sautéed baby carrots, candied walnuts, mixed Fingerling potatoes, and a green apple cranberry bourbon sauce; and a Mediterranean Black Angus Tri-Tip Steak marinated and served with Fingerling potatoes, grilled broccolini and a Port wine mushroom trio sauce. New Gluten Free items include a Roasted Pork Loin Sandwich, a Grilled Chicken Breast on a gluten-free Bun, Sweet and Sour Vegetables, a Jumbo Shrimp Pasta, and a Grilled Portobello Sandwich. Finish your meal with the Chef’s newest house made dessert- Nonna’s Cannoli’s made with house-made superfine Ricotta cheese with lemon and orange zest, Marsala wine, almonds, Maraschino cherries and dipped in toasted pistachio and shaved chocolate. Chef Gianni has also added fresh baked gluten-free Chocolate Chip and Ginger Snap cookies to the menu. To accompany all your dishes the Pinnacle has a specific Falkner Winery wine recommendation for each item. Diners at the Pinnacle can relax in in-door air conditioned comfort or on our outside hill-top balcony while enjoying the spectacular views of Temecula Wine Country from this stunning restaurant.
