The Shamrock Irish Pub & Eatery’s motto is, “there are no strangers here; just friends that you haven’t met yet.” From the moment you enter the doors the pub drips in authentic Irish culture and charm from the hand painted murals, to the solid oak bar, and genuine memorabilia straight from Ireland. You immediately feel immersed in its traditions and experience what a true Irish pub feels like. You can be sure there will always be a warm Irish welcome at The Shamrock.
The Shamrock Irish Pub & Eatery is a culmination of the vision and passion from Dubliner Graham Judge whose lifelong ambition was to bring a true taste of authentic Irish hospitality and humor to California. Paul Little is the other business partner and they both have a “hands on” approach to make sure The Shamrock delivers in every aspect of the customer experience. The two owners are nearly always on hand for a chat and they like nothing more than a good chin wag with Shamrock patrons and to embrace a community that they have come to love.
The Shamrock serves traditional pub fare and the fish & chips have quickly achieved cult status in the area for being authentic and delicious. Other specialties include Sheperherd’s pie, bangers and mash along with more American favorites like the whiskey beer burger. There are also a full range of appetizers and the Irish nachos are a hit with the Shamrock patrons.
Live music and entertainment is always a key feature of the Shamrock’s DNA. There is entertainment six days a week and most weekends it is high energy up tempo Celtic tunes. Bands that have played or been booked to play include the likes of The Young Dubliners, Brick Top Blaggers, Craic Haus, Galway Hooker Band to name but a few. Local favorites Master Splinter & The Shredders also rock out every now and again when we change things up a little. Every Tuesday there is a stand up comedy night done in conjunction with Aces Comedy Club and Wednesdays see’s the Shamrock’s unique twist on open-mic with the The Sham Jam featuring local talent with our resident bands.
Family Funday Sunday is held on a weekly basis and is a real “Irish Trad session” with live music and also features The Claddagh Irish Dance Company from Murrieta. It starts at 2pm until 7pm and is a day for the whole family to enjoy together on the most precious day of the week.
In conjunction with the Murrieta Chamber of Commerce and other local businesses we are very proud to be involved with the very first two day music festival to be held in Muttieta on September 21st & 22nd. For full details please go to www.GetShamrocked.com
